Colorado Tango Festival in Denver is an inspired creation of several individuals that passionately love Argentine Tango. Most of us have more than 20 years of experience dancing, teaching, performing, organizing events with legendary master teachers and leading other organizational efforts that promote authentic Argentine Tango and its culture.
Creating this festival, we collaborated with Tango Colorado and the Mercury Cafe that have promoted and supported authentic Argentine Tango in Colorado for more than 20 years.
We created this festival for passionate dancers that love tango, its origin and its culture, who have refined their exquisite taste and high expectation of their dance experience through intense learning, deep exploration and travel in the name of Tango.
We have chosen beautiful venues for your enjoyment. We invited magnificent and highly respected in Argentina and all over the world master teachers Pablo Pugliese, Noel Strazza, Diego di Falco and Carolina Zokalski to bring to you the most intense, refined and exquisite instruction that will offer you a profound personal exploration of authentic Argentine tango that is equally exciting to all dancers, including rank beginners, experienced social dancers, and stars of the stage.
We invite you to come to our festival in our beautiful city, bring your passion, joy and enthusiasm, and immerse yourself in tango as you may have known it in Buenos Aires long ago, with all its excitement and mystery. We hope that our festival will be a beautiful experience for you.
"The secret of tango is in this moment of improvisation that happens between step and step. It is to make the impossible thing possible: to dance silence." - Carlos Gavito
"Ever since I can remember, I have tried to relate the beauty of great music to the harmony of life. As a small child, I even imagined that if I could play the Chaccone of Bach inspiringly enough, in the Sistine Chapel, under the eyes of Michelangelo, all that is ignoble and vile would miraculously disappear from our world." - Yehudi Menuhin (Violin of the Century)
